I'm in Istanbul right now for the first time and it's amazing! I'll post more of my pics on the blog later on as I make my way to Cape Town. Beautiful city with an amazing history. The architecture is absolutely mind blowing!

HDR - Next Level Of Photography

HDR is short for High Dynamic Range. It is a post-processing of taking either one image or a series of images, combining them, and adjusting the contrast ratios to do things that are virtually impossible with a single aperture and shutter speed.

Trey Ratcliff is best known for this site, StuckInCustoms.com, which has become the #1 Travel Photography Blog on the internet with around 350,000 visits per month.

Trey is even nice enough to add a tutorial on his site on how to get pictures like these. If you're into photography this site is a must!

Major Concerts Hitting South Africa 2010/2011

Photo: Kings Of Leon by Brendon Weyers

When it comes to major artists touring South Africa... we've been left in the dark for a long time. Only over the past few years South Africa has become a major stop for artists to come play, for bands such as Metallica, Korn, Muse, The Offspring, Billy Talent, Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Counting Crows and few more. But 2011 is going to be one of South Africa's biggest years when it comes to big concerts. The reason for this could be a few things but the most important reason would be the FIFA World Cup South Africa hosted back in June. The success of this worldwide known sporting event proved South Africa is capable of hosting major events. New stadiums were also built during preparation for the World Cup and these stadiums need to be filled. Solution = Big Concerts.
