Best Movie Title Sequence - Catch Me If You Can
Starting today, I'm going to post some of the best movie intros or title sequences. This could really make or break a movie for me. The first 10 seconds is going to tell you everything regarding the vibe, feel, tone and energy of the film.
So to get the ball rolling, I would like to introduce our first winner... drum roll... Steven Spielberg's 2002 biographical comedy-drama, Catch Me If You Can. The film is based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr who, before his 19th birthday, successfully performed cons worth millions of dollars by posing as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a Georgia doctor, and a Louisiana parish prosecutor. Now I read the book after I saw the film and I must say the book goes in a lot more detail but then again what film really captures all the detail covered in a book anyway. So now, please enjoy Kuntzel and Deygas's memorable and idiosyncratic title sequence.

Growing up, Tony Hawk Pro Skater was the only thing I played for about 4 years straight (not even kidding) so you can imagine how stoked I was when Tony Hawk himself released details on his new game at the VGA's.
The game was first announced at the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards show (VGAs) with a trailer demonstrating Tony Hawk skating around the Woodland Hills Warehouse (the first stage of the original game). It is the first Tony Hawk's
game on consoles that will be offered exclusively as a downloadable
game. It is a return to the gameplay of the original games in the
series, predating Tony Hawk: Ride, and as such will only be played using a standard controller. It is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles as a downloadable game in 2012.
